A three-member delegation from Botswana Accountancy College led by Serty Leburu (Executive Director), Mpho Victoria Mokgosi (Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications) and Galamoyo Male (Academic Director, School of Computing and Information Systems) paid a visit to the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Small Enterprise Development (CESED).
Their visit on 9th June, 2017 at the DEG Conference room, School of Business was a fact-finding mission to discuss best practices at CESED and to deliberate on common areas of interest. The delegates had mutually beneficial interactions with Dr. Siaw Frimpong (Vice-Dean, School of Business), Dr. (Mrs.) Mavis S. Benneh Mensah (Head of CESED), Dr. Daniel Agyapong (Head of Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management) and Dr. Edward Amarteifio (Coordinator, University of Cape Coast Business Incubator).
In her presentation, the Head of CESED briefed the visitors on the history and mandate of CESED, explained academic programmes run by the Centre and enlightened them on how the Centre is promoting student business start-ups mainly through the University of Cape Coast Business Incubator and University of Cape Coast and Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences and University of Nairobi (UCC-BRSU-UoN) Business Plan Competition.
At the end of the visit, the two sides agreed on staff and student exchange as possible areas of collaboration.
